Presented at Circo Para Todos, Cali, Colombia, 2012. 


As associate artist and managing member of Lotos Collective, Oliver was invited to work with the internationally-renowned social circus movement in Cali, Colombia to support with the direction of the graduate show and to teach puppetry.


Oliver led workshops with students to explore the use of Bunraku, table-top and giant puppets in the circus context. He then went on to design and construct the large scale puppets for the final performance, which included various Colombian animals and an 8-foot golden man, puppeteered by 6 performers. 


Circo Para Todos is a social circus initiative, which trains disadvantaged youth from the slums of Cali, Colombia. It offers a 4-year free training course with future opportunities for graduating students to perform their circus skills all over the world as professional artists. The foundation was set up by Felicity Simpson and Héctor Fabio Cobo Plata in 1997.
