In 2014 plans were made for Little Angel Theatre to revive and re-imagine their production of Jabberwocky based on Lewis Carroll’s famous nonsense poem. With this in mind we also thought it would be the ideal starting point for this year’s youth theatre show. With just the poem as source material the Little Angel Youth Theatre set about designing and making a show that would represent the essence of the poem and the weird and wonderful characters that inhabit it.
It wasn’t until January 2015 that the group saw Little Angel Theatre’s production, and the opportunity to talk to the company. The Youth Theatre's production was the result of two terms of workshops where the company have created a unique interpretation of a poem that has delighted and terrified people for generations.
